Has anyone had issues with a high pitch whining sound at low speeds?

Is this coming from the Tero's servos? The motor? Or the assistant director? :)

    Andy.

I believe it is from the motor.

At really low speed our Tero whines... I thought it's normal, once the motor is probably made for higher speeds... I've been researching a way to lower the gear ratio so the motor reaches a higher speed and the Tero remains slower, but still not sure if it's possible in a reasonable way...

    Hi Terry.
I managed to solve this problem installing the new Mamba XLX esc (which is not making this noise, compared to the Mamba XL2 installed on Tero), BUT, there's a common issue with power limit when starting from a dead stop with this new controller...resulting in car cogging. I will give you an update as soon as I get a fw update from esc manufacturer, and know if high pitch noise will come back (probably).
    Cheers

Problem solved defenitely. High pitch whining disappeared, esc's firmware update on the new Mamba XLX (upgrade of the factory installed XL2) solved the cogging issue (power limit initially introduced was disabled with this release).
