movi m5 mounting to jib

    Hi Steve, you could do that as well -- use a 75mm head upside down. I assume the Ball Mount on the Benro jib can be oriented up or down? But if you're willing to do that, why not just go with B&H's original suggestion, of getting a 75mm to flat base adapter? It would be lighter, for sure, and less expensive, less to pack, etc.

    The only other thing to consider is the amount of space you need for clearance of the back of the Pan Arm on the Movi. If you boom up too far on the jib, the pan arm would hit the bottom of the jib. Adding a Ball Head into the mix will keep the camera lower (or higher, if top-mounted) than if you had it mounted flush to the ball.
