Hi I continue to have some vibration on my pan axis, that I can not get rid of. I tune the drone while it's hanging in a sling. I fly at 13.6 kg load, and have both tried black and teal bushes. There's no real difference to see. It does not matter if I fly in position hold, high hold or in manual. Do you have any suggestions on what I might alter on my settings? Can you share a good setting, that works perfect for you? Stefan: It doesn't look like vibration as such -- it's very low frequency. It's almost like something is loose on the MōVI -- and it suddenly moves in a quick jerk, rather than oscillating back and forth. I realize this doesn't answer your question, but can you confirm that this is what you're seeing? Andy
I hear what you say, but I see it more as if it is the wind that gives it some small push. I have checked the MoVI, and all screws and joints are tight. I do not think that it suddenly jerk, but rather a constant waggle sideways ...
Have you sent an email to support@freeflysystems.com to open up a support ticket and see what they might suggest? Andy
Stefan, i had a similar issue and after reading the Akira 5.0 manual several times i came across the top paragraph on page 21 which says, "set the OUTPUT FILTER to a value of one (1) and configure each axis filter independently. If Output Filter is set to a value greater than one (1) , its value overrides all three independent filters. So with your Output filter at 5, that is the highest strength your pan, roll, tilt will achieve. Make your Output Filter one (1) and you might discover the same thing i did, things smoothed out really well.
Thanks for advice. It sounds promising, and I will test it as soon as there comes a day with good weather
The only problem I have lots of is that my horizon swings from side to side when I fly sideways. In fact, if I were flying fast forward, then tilt the camera slightly downward, and the opposite when I fly rapidly backwards. It is as if gps/motor can not keep up.
Stefan, could you repost your current settings now? The footage looks pretty good. I've been struggling with the same issue. Thanks, Mike
Hi Mike Yes of course I will do that. I'm going to Germany in the morning, and is back again monday. Then I will send you my settings Do you also have the issue with the rolling horizon, when flying sideways?
Thanks Stefan. I'm one of the lucky ones that don't seem to get that issue. But I had a similar pan jog as you. -m
The footage looks better! Thanks for uploading. I'm also interested in your current settings too - the output filter settings confuse me a little. Thanks
