I recently tested my movi controller in airborne mode and with mimic enabled. Starts up nicely but freezes after 7 seconds every time. Need to change mode back to normal, then to MIMIC again to get 7 new seconds.
This does not happen in handheld mode, only airborne. Anybody with the same issue?

    Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Reiel haven't seen this question before. While waiting to see a response I would suggest you send an email to support@freeflysystems.com.

Airborne mode and MIMIC do not currently work together.

If you are using MōVI Controller MIMIC while flying we recommend the following:

    1. Flip the mode switch on the Controller to kill before you power up the MōVI.
    2. Power up the MōVI, it will boot into kill mode (MōVI in Handheld, not Airborne).
    3. As soon as your clear the ground, flip the mode switch to dual op.
    4. After flight is finished, right before you set it down on the ground, flip it back to kill.
    5. Power down the MōVI before the Controller so it doesn't default to Majestic and spin the pan.

For the MIMIC handlebars, we have added a killmode to the pan lock button, in the Akira firmware. Allowing for the same procedure above to work.
