Hi all, after long testing and building several prototypes my new Mōvi spring-mount is finished and ready for production. I tested it on car mount (vacu-rigs), jibarms (also vehicle mounted), tero and several camera cranes, incl. techno 30. I will have it hard coated in black, the weight without the mitchell boss is app. 800 gr. The design features a very low center of gravity, therefore the side forces on light jib arms and cranes is very low. Anybody who should be interested just send me a pm and i might think of building a bunch. Th spring mounts are specially calculated for the M-15 with a heavy camera setup (about 8-10 kgs overall), and can be adapted by just removing of three of them for M5 (about 6 kgs overall). Thanks and cheers, Wolf
I'd love to see some sample footage. What are the strengths + weaknesses of the various rigs you've tried? Do you have any footage from those tests?
Hi Andres, a test with a moving 21 ft crane, M-15 with spring mount, Alexa mini and Optimo 20-72 mm zoom, ungraded: password: spring Some clips shot end of last year, testing the mount first 15 sec. / Bike / carmount first 13 sec. car mount, and many shots with my I-Wheel ;-) and air2air handheld The M-15 works great on crane and jib arms, together with the Mimic and the spring mount. I also successfully used hard mounts on cars with vacu-rigs. Best, Wolf
i ordered some willbrandt dampeners a few weeks ago but didn't have the time to build the plates... do you sell the plates without dampeners?
Hi Rolf, yes it would be an option but you would have to send me the dampers, since i need the exact size to customize the plates for a perfect fit. Just send me a pm for fuether discussion. Best, Wolf
We ran the griptech VVI isolator this week with a red dragon setup and it was fantastic. Takes out all the Z-Axis road bumps and includes a wire rope isolator.
Hi Ben, send me a pm with your email adress and i will send you an offer. Thanks and best regards, Wolf
