yes, finally ready, the modified M10: custom made startstop/iris fingerwheel vmount, feeding all sources custom made quick release (specially made by Dutch company) custom made car mount for transport (not engineered, but works like a charm) Very happy with it. startstop/iris was made by a Ducth company called Etkon (Amsterdam based). very elegant and reliable piece of equipment with very flexible cable. quick release by another Dutch company, this quick release is a very well engineered piece of work, very small, in my case for quick mounting a Sachtler plate. There's a redneck micro remote with finger wheel as well, but I am getting that back from repair next week. For more information, I will reply.

The Mods look very interesting. Would love to see more pictures from other angles. Something explaining the quick release would be good when we get to see it in a few weeks.
Jason, it is quite handy for me, height wise, Lowering would be possible, just lower the whole thing. Maybe the picture I made isn't clear enough, the start/stop isn't visible on the picture (it's located on the backside of this picture, the thumb on my righthand can easily push it. irising is done by turning the wheel on the lower side of the finger wheel. I realise my picture isn't answering questions so I will make some better pictures this week.
Well done on the modification. Please, let us know your results after testing. We made a virtually identical battery bracket when the M10 first came out. However, we found that the position and weight of the battery altered the way the M10 hung in the hand, and as a consequence, the pan motor was working very hard the whole time. So, we chewed through the batteries. We also found that it was very tiring to hold when it was on a slight angle - caused by the shift in weight. However, this may not be an issue anymore since we now use Easyrig-Serene. It's good to see different power distribution options and ideas out there.
I understand your point, weightwise I bought the lightest Vmounts I could find. What solution did you turn to? some people work with a Dtapped off the Movi Vmount
We have two solutions now. 1. When we are in the hand, we have a custom made power distribution box on the top bar. Lemo connectors. Feeding a wiring loom down to the camera. V Mount is offboard, in the battery pouch of the Easyrig. This lets us run larger batteries, as we got sick of always changing out the small ones on busy sets. 2. When we are hard mounted, or under a drone, we run the small V Mount on the side of the dragon, and power the video transmitter and Axis 1 from that.
have considered the Lemo solution, but I think I made a good choice feeding everything with this light Vmount.
