Hey Guys, So i bought a RF explorer recently http://shop.nutsaboutnets.com/colle...m-analyzers/products/signal-generator-rfe6gen. Does anyone one own one? can give me a few pointers on how to set-it up. I thought this would add a bit of extra safety to our kit. Thanks
A little update tested my fpv system 1.3ghz. yep it works can see my transitter turning off and on. great. They is something transmitting in my or nearby my office at 2410ghz -46 so cant see my radio turn on or off. I have tested started engines inside with props off no problems though. can someone tell me what range 2.4ghz or settings i should be looking at in this module cheers
Hey mate, I use the same scanner (2.4GHz version). I, very unscientifically, just turn on my main transmitter, scale the graph so the peaks are almost at the top, and that's it. Then I look for anything that is in that range, and usually just say 'it'll be fine'. You have to scroll left and right to see the whole range but it works well enough.
Thanks Benjamin, I can see the 1.3ghz no probs maybe because its stronger signal then 2.4ghz. Can you send me photo of the settings 2.4Ghz? So I can cross reference? just the frequency menu would be great. cheers
