Here are a couple of edits from some flights around Sydney, Australia. I still haven't been able to get rock solid results from my M10 so I did apply some post stabilisation on these shots. Also the compression isn't that good. I would love to hear your thoughts
Good shots but personally I would not be satisfied until I'm able to produce post-stab free footage, after all isn't that why you spent so much coin? To get away from the old days where post-stab was mandatory.
Agreed. Its getting much better the more I fiddle with the settings. Still having to use a bit of stabilisation, but I'm confident I will eliminate the need for it with a few more adjustments.
Hi Howard, what would you recommend to change in Alta, Movi settings to achieve the best results of stabilization?
I don't own an alta so I have no idea. Are you too not getting perfect results? Maybe an alta pro will jump in.
here's the latest iteration of movi settings with no post stabilisation. its getting there. still have some vibration introduced by the alta, but i think thats just a matter of reducing the vert stiffness and hold settings a bit more.
