Thanks for the info! Could you tell me how to set up the transmitter/receiver so the ALTA know when LOS happens?
The only thing that you can do is to set the fail safe position properly. This means: Controls - Neutral Mode - Position RTH - On But this is like you'll flip it manually. The synapse cannot detect LOS from a PPM signal currently....
This is how it works now. If PPM with LOS isn't working than I will add this to the list which I will send to Freefly to work on.
Perfect. I would additionally recommend you to insert a short delay of 3 seconds between Mode -Position And RTH-On
Adam/Jan: I think that you will find that the Autoland will kick in when the battery gets low -- so on LOS the ALTA will execute RTH, hover, and keep hovering until a low battery condition occurs -- at which point it will Autoland at the home position. Regarding the inability to fly above 118 m in PH, I know FF got the message, but I'm not sure what action is being taken (I'm a volunteer moderator, not an FF employee). Andy.
Sorry, I posted above without seeing this: It does work...but it works differently from the way we thought it did....the extended hover is the difference when you're running with a PPM-based Tx/Rx like the Graupner. Andy.
