Interesting, what sort of issues should I see? Not sure if running the lower props at a faster rpm would be similar to running a small top/big bottom? As mentioned we're running the 64/71 mk mixer in which the lowers are running about 15-20% faster than top. This is an interesting topic!

    Just a quick warning.

Running any prop other then the stock prop on the ALTA is not recommended. The ALTA ESC's are tuned for the stock props and running a prop with a different weight, diameter, or inertia could result in problems (motors stopping in flight would be the worst case scenario and possible with non-stock props)

Agreed. So when can we purchase additional "Stock" Props?

We are aware of the demand for spare props and apologize for the delay in availability.

We should have them in stock, ready to ship by the end of the week.

I am just wondering, what did you guys do that you need new props? Do you need them 'just in case' or did you damage the original ones? If damage - how?

    Props can damage very easily.

Landing with a small leaf or twig blowing up could do it.

Them if you don't have spares handy, you are grounded.

I notice that FF sells the Alta propelers individually, not in pairs, and only the complete 2 part blades + prop blade adapter, if you damage your prop and need to change it, you may only need the baldes not the adapter, I hope FF considers selling the blades separate from the adapters it would probably be a considerable savings for all

Not sure if this is true, but I just bought a set from my supplier here in Australia and he said he could only get 9 of each and FF have sold out again. Super hot potatoes.
