this is the trailer to a longterm documentary about the "Campus Galli" where people build a cloister city from 1000 year old plans found in the "Stiftsbibliothek St. Gallen/switzerland". they build this cloister city with the resources of the middle ages and this will last about 80 years the trailer is for the first part of the documentary (the first 3 years in building) we filmed the aerials with our ALTA and the GH4 in 4k http://www.augeohr.de/dreh-fuer-rk-film-muenchen-beim-campus-galli-in-messkirch/
Very cool project, and a great example of how a modest production can look very fancy with some well-done aerials.
Very cool work Rolf - looks great! Something wrong with your Alta though - can't understand a word the guy is saying. Maybe a firmware update?
Rolf, did you have to wrap the radio receivers or any specific areas on the Movi to handle the light rain? I'm dying to try this but a bit apprehensive. tx,m
yes - we taped the receivers and the balancer plugs of each batterie. we also used clingfilm (i hope this is the right word for what i mean ) and gaffer tape for some other parts. we did another flight in more rain a few days ago. we had water on the lens and the footage is mostly unusable but ALTA didn't mind
i used the clingfilm and tape to cover the electronics and the balancer plug of the batteries. that's all.
