riding roll (dutch head)

    I have a client who wants to ride the roll and bank the horizon to simulate an eagles flight.

    Is there a way to set this up on the M15 and MoVi Controller?

    Actually, Mimic Mode on the Movi Controller would be perfect for this. The firmware is in beta, but outside of a few quirks the FW is pretty solid.

    You can choose the amount of sensitivity the Controller has to the roll axis, then you just bank the Controller to bank the camera. There are limits to how far you can bank without also having to bank the handles of the Movi.

    I just assign the roll to one of the knobs. It's very simple to do on the controller and works well.

    great thanks, I ended up mapping the Roll to the Focus knob and it works great, the client loves it which makes me looks good.
