I am on my third movi...have bought and sold with jobs coming and going. Looking at a used movi 10 and wondered... If a motor or major part failed...what is the cost and availability of parts for a re-build?? Anyone experienced? care to share "the process" info?
Thats a good question. Selling a M10 as well and have been asked that. Let me know if your deal falls thru as mine is still for sale. Barely used and in great shape bye the way.
Ebay. I copied the address, doesn't look right but hope it works. If it doesn't let me know. Thanks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/301717460981?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
Repairs have been going back to Freefly if something that isn't user replaceable. Example might be one of the arms that has a fitting that is put on with adhesive.
Thanks Gary. Curious about costs to repair a bad bearing in a motor or other major part. $100s, $1000s?
Send an email to support@freeflysystems.com. I don't think anyone that has had an incident has ever reported any type of costs here on the forum.
I never had any repairs with 2 Movis (10 and 15) in about two years of very extense use…. maybe that´s one of the reasons why there are no reports…not many failures... Best Wolf
Have sent Movis (M10s & M15s) back to FF for repair many times - quick turn-around and really really reasonable prices.
I've sent an M10 back to FF in the past as well. There was an issue where the whole unit would not 'boot'. After doing some extensive trouble shooting I had to send it back. Could not be happier with the service though, it was shipped from the UK, repaired and returned within a week and was very reasonable.
Our M10 has been ROCK solid for almost 2 years. Amazed at this little guy, and MORE amazed at how wonderful FF is with their customers. This is EVERY reason I don't use DJI or any other brand anymore for this kind of gear.
