    It's June 20 2015 and I'm just frittering away the days until I get my hands on this new ship.
    I thought for s##ts and giggles I'd post a poll so you can vote on when you think it'll ship.

    A little bird told me it will be September...what's the prize for guessing the correct month? How about a Freefly Alta with Movi M15 plus all accessories and an Arri Alexa Mini?

    Alternatively, why don't we start a futures market for options to purchase ALTA's?

    I REALLY REALLY hope it's not September... This is one thing the FreeFly needs to get better about is keeping people informed as to what is going on... They still have a week and a few days though so I will continue to hold my breath...

    Well it looks like that Freefly will start shipment of the first ALTA's not before beginning of August.

    I am a bit confused as I have received a 3 page flyer "Product Update 22nd of June 15" but I don't see this information published in the web yet. So I don't know if this information is already an official statement or yet still needs final confirmation.

    It's from Freefly of course :)
    But as I said I am confused that this information is not yet public as this forum is from Freefly.

    As new member here I don't want to kill myself already in the first days by sending out all information which probably is not yet public and as revenge they will put my order to the end ;)

    Did anyone else who pre-ordered get this? I pre-ordered within 2 days of it being announced but haven't received anything. :(

    Hi Bo - We will start shipping ALTA preorders in batches on 3 August. We will be sending the dealers and the direct customers an email with an estimated shipping timeframe for individual orders in the coming weeks. Once your dealer has this, they should be able to give you a better estimate on when you might receive yours.
