So I have 2 M10's and one of them is not working. I haven't used it in a while so I can't tell you what firmware it is on. What I can tell you is what is going on. Fresh fully charged battery( I have tried several as well) Power on and the 3 lights turn on and then off in about 2 seconds. Can not connect to the freely app(Tried on multiple devices) -it shows up in the bluetooth menu and then goes away I can see a red light from between case around where the GPS antenna plugs in. Any Suggestions ? Is it bricked? Does it need to be sent in?
Hi Paul: It sounds like you need to open up a support ticket by sending the description above to support@freeflysystems.com. You might want to add details about which type of computer you're running the Configurator app on just in case that should be relevant... I presume that you never see the three green LEDs come on solid after about 10 seconds or so? If that's the case, then I think you're right -- the support guys at Freefly might be able to help you to the point where you don't have to send it in, but that's obviously their call not mine. Andy.
Sounds to me like the infamous unseated jacks. Check that all the motor cables are plugged in and secure.
Whoops, same story over here... I was trying to upgrade the firmware... now only a 3LED blink and nothing more... fully charged battery, a proper blue tooth connection but no further reaction or parameters visible in the app. Anybody a suggestion to solve this problem? Thank you, Diego
Our M10 had to be shipped back to FF for maintenance - seems we had overloaded the circuits so the had to replace some electronics in the GCU. Works like a charm now!
Did you see any messages to indicate the update had completed, Diego? Or do you have reason to believe that the update failed? When you restart the configurator app (and make sure it's the version that matches the firmware on the MōVI), and try to connect to the M10, what happens? Finally, do you have a so-called "bootstrap jumper?"' EDIT : "bootstrap jumper cable." There are several threads that may help you figure out what's happened: http://forum.freeflysystems.com/ind...blem-device-bootstrap-jumper.6189/#post-58169 http://forum.freeflysystems.com/ind...cked-while-firmware-flashing.5079/#post-50706 http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/m10-jumper-cable-italy-rome.6228/ Andy.
Hi Andy, Recently, we got an inquiry from a customer who is one of the first group of M5 customers. His problem is similar - M5 update failure. We have gone through some discussions here and found "Jumper cable" might be able to help. Could you please help to send us some ? Appreciate your help and advice. Many many thanks! Shirley
Gary beat me to the punch! But he's right. Here are the instructions for using the Jumper Cable: https://freeflysystems.zendesk.com/...-do-I-use-my-jumper-cable-to-recover-my-MōVI- The jumper cable shorts together pins 1 and 5 and forces the gimbal control unit to enter the "Bootloader" mode so that you can re-try the firmware upgrade. Hope this helps. Andy.
