    Hello-
I have an M15 w/ FW V.3.08 that is working properly w/ my movi controller. I also have an M10 w/ FW. V.4.01
The M10 w/ newer FW will connect to the movi controller and I'm able to adjust most of the settings. However, I'm not able to activate auto tune or the menu option "save settings". When I push the right menu set button nothing happens. Anyone else?

Nicholas: Can you provide some additional information regarding the hardware and software that you're using to run the Configurator app. please? Some screen shots would also be helpful, if possible so we can see precisely what is not working.

    Thanks
    Andy

    Hi Andy,
Sure, I'll upload a few snaps as soon as I get back to my kit. I'll tell you now though that I downloaded the latest release of the configurator from your site yesterday (onto brand new MBP). While doing so, I also downloaded Movi FW 4.01 and flashed it to my M10. I then went on to tune the M10 w/ my movi controller and everything seemed happy until I tried to "save settings". To troubleshoot , I navigated through all of the MC 's menus which all seem to function fine/transmit to the M10 except for "Auto-tune" and "save settings". I suspected the FW update was at fault so I pulled out my M15 running 3.08 and both of the aforementioned menu selections worked fine. Let me know, thanks!

    Thanks for the information, Nicholas.
I've not seen any reports of this kind of a problem before. When the menu drops down on the MBP screen, is Save Settings greyed out? Or just it not do anything when you select it?

    Andy.

The issue is not with the computer or configurator, those work fine. It's the Movi controller that no longer has the ability to "save settings" or "auto tune".
    Keep me posted, thx

Ohhh...sorry...I misunderstood. Hmm. That's definitely a question for FF tech support: Email to to support@freeflysystems.com and open up a trouble ticket.

The Movi controller is actually saving the settings. There is no visual indication that it is happening and thats on the list to get fixed in a future firmware revision. You can test this by changing the stiffness for example by a few numbers, hitting save, restarting the movi and notice the new numbers are still there. If it wasn't saving, you would have the original settings in that case.

    Hi Brad:
Nicholas mentions in his first posting that he cannot activate Autotune...

If you want to use auto tune, it Seems the temp solution is to roll back to 3.08

I have exactly the same problem.

M15 just came back from being repaired by Freefly.

It has the latest Firmware on it.

Movi Controller can pan / tilt etc, but no adjustment of tuning settings.

We have an M10 on the old firmware. Controller works as expected with this.

Ben, did you upgrade the Controller Firmware? Sounds like that is the issue. You can get the updated version in the support section, software. Scroll down and the Controller software is the last items on the list. Also the manual is there.

I had the same problem until I upgraded to firmware version 1.0.3, Ben.
If you're already upgraded, then please post again as this would be a new issue.

We have not updated the MoVI Controller Firmware as the only option I see available for download is a BETA version.

Is there no Release version? We don't usually run Beta Firmwares.

AFAIK the beta version is all there is for now. I don't think FF has announced when the beta program will end.

    Ok. Beta installed. Functioning again.

    Thanks for the assistance.
