    Hello everyone.

Trying to guage interest in an extremely lightweight filter holder I've developed to see if it's worth opening it up to the gimbal/UAV/Steadicam market. It's designed to work just like a mattebox (ability to swap filters quickly, add more than one, etc.) except without all the extra weight.

    Couple of questions:

    - What are you currently using for light control?
    - What lenses do you use most often?
    - Do you prefer round, 4x4, or 4x5.65 filters?
    - If round, Series 9, 4.5", or 138mm?
    - Would you pay a slightly higher price If it was able to rotate the filter internally to keep the rig balanced?

    Thanks in advance. Cheers,

Hi Eric, I could be interested, but I see every type of camera and lens. Probably see more square filters then round. I might also be interested in the balanced rotation, but it all depends on what that increase is. Hope that helps.

Thanks, Jim. The good news is that it'll work with a variety of lens diameters.

The rotating stage is simply more complex to design/build, hence more expensive.

    Eric, I'm interested also.

I mostly see square filters. I'm using Super 16 and Super 35 lenses often and a lightweight filter holder is a must.
