Looks good, very similar to Digitech's plate, although his is over 100$.. lol. are you limited to certain receivers or will most fit. A smaller diameter one would be good , one that sits inside the battery mount stand-offs...?
Another option for quality esc's with WKM is the Maytech SimonK flashed Harrier supreme 50A .
With the Maytechs you dont need to programme them with SimonK firmware, just the throttle endpoints.!

heres my 5$ solution... i can fit everything on it, but i dont have the iosd.

    Hi Max,

i have the same Problems with my Bird. CS8 from kopterworx esc is maytech and is very very shaky in all settings. This was the oppinion of my request here in the Cinestar forum.

Now i get much help from Mark form O-one. Now i use Redbrick esc with simonk and is better. but not so good as the stability of my old mikrokopter system on the same bird. There was the altitude mode and the postion hold very very very... bad but the stab was better.

I have the feeling that the kopter will shake from it self like an horse. not so much but a little bit.

I use an old version wkm all things an a plastic plate with 15mm fibration dampers

    foto.JPG foto1.JPG

    The IMU is
    x7; y0; z-6
    GPS is
    x-2; y10; z-19
    The gains are 100;110;90;90

Ihave tried with 140;140;110;100 but it shake more than with low gains

The esc are set with high timing and 16Khz

I would suggest higher gains than that, are you running firmware 5.16? & what are your atti gains?
Have you checked your CG when its fully loaded with batteries & camera & done the compass calibration?

But if i put higher gains it oscillates larger and faster, yes i have done the calibration and running 5.16.
How do i really check the CG? i'm waiting that the CS8 will fly perfect before mounting the gimbal and the camera.

Could u explain the problem in a video?

The cog settings looks for the first okay. but i think with these setup u have to fly something like:

140/140/120/100 und atti for the first 70/70

I have the 50a Version from Kopterworx, i think they work the same way.
But now i have change my esc to simonk and it is a bit better but it is not so solid that i would say it is very stable. The biggest problem is in my case when the kopter stops to rise or when it is fall down.

Some motors didnt work well with the earlier version of SimonK firmware, make sure you have the latest release, i think it was about 3-4 weeks ago the newer version was released.
    Download it here:

I have tried few minutes ago with 175;175;145;160 atto 100;100 and it's a lot better than before, i have also measured with precision the distance of x;y;z axis.
I think i'm going to put highest gain and see how it goes, maybe trying to add some payload too.
I'll let you know and i'll try to post a short video ok?

    Ohh, thats shaky :)

it is a different effect like mine. I think you have to change the z measurement. Take 5cm more and less and check whats happend.
    What props are u using?

I'm using wood xoar 14x4. This afternoon i'll try with z axis and i'll let you know, i'll try with higher gains too.
it may be 'cause i don't have any payload?
    Thanks

I have tryied with a 2kg payload and it flyies good, i have also defined the gains, i think that it's done.....
Maybe xoar 14x4 are too big to fly without any payload....what do you think about it?
Now i can search for the gimbal....

    That are good news! ;-)
I use for my QC3328 Motors 14:7 props from xoar and its the best result. Do you change the z axis settings?
