I'm using the Pro Belt Pan Axis with the 8017 90T motor with Alexmos 3.5 8bit board; and when I rotate (yaw) the handles, the pan moves in the direction of the yaw motion for a sec then stays pointing in the same direction as it should, but then slightly jerks back the opposite direction when I stop rotating the handlebars. This doesn't seem to happen if I rotate the handlebars really slowly though. I have "follow me" turned off and no slop in the belt assembly. Has anyone seen this issue and/or knows what is happening and how to fix it? Pan PID settings: 16 0.04 19
Ary, I don't recommend the way you have the LG setup. One clamp wont do the job. Find a way to have two clamps on each leg even though the clamps are metal. Bill
This is now, my drone crashed. But the good things about DIY equiptment is, you can build with additional spare parts you have. it took only one day to rebuild, 2nd day for checking & settings, 3rd day it resurect from the death, fly again& do the jobs Don't need to send back to china & wait for unlimited time + uncertain condition
Sorry to see that Ary, no matter if is DYI of custom frame it still hurts. I see you used a second clamp but the carbon fiber where you installed the clamp is too thin. Is this what happened? Bill
No, pilot mistake. I forgot to put 1 observer in small alley, difficult manuver. split second late and boom hit gig tree. Small clap might looks fragile, but it hold well even with 4kg camera. But I aggree it need to reinforce. Luckily, I only need to replace 2 boom arm
Hi guys? I'm having some problems on my Gimbal, i built from scratch, my Problem is the Pan Motor, does not seem to have power, when the Drone is on top of the gimbal, it keep moving it, does work, but no power, I was wonder if i had mounted the motor inside the cage upside dow, i added some pictures for you guys to look Its a Ipower 8017. Any help? Thanks Richard
What do you mean when you say it has no power. If the motor keeps moving the copter that means it has power. The motor looks fine from the photos. Maybe raise your power a bit. Bill
Take a picture of the alexmos Gui pages once you are connected with the gimbal finish and balance with a camera and lens on it and a picture of the finish gimbal this way I or others can help you
Hi Bill, Can you share your opinion about phobotic centre piece? also in comparison with alex Mos? I ordered one, but it will arrive end of Dec/Jan
Hi Ary, The CP is good in fact very good especially the autotune feature' It works with most gimbals mostly with the RCTimer legacy gimbal. As for the Cinestar gimbal with the revolving legs is no go. The CP is very sensitive to vibrations so you have to make sure everything is very ridged. If you do the autotune do it one axis at the time. Is too much slop on the yaw and autotune will not complete. The tilt and roll are fine. I know a fellow that uses the CP for the tilt and roll and for yaw he uses the Radian and it works. As for a handheld rig is awesome especially the follow mode. Now the Alexmos 8 bit works with the RLG but the 32bit still has some issues. For my clients I recommend the CP for handheld and the Alexmos for the MR. The Alexmos works with all gimbal but not the CP. The people at Phobotic are working on a new version of firmware, They say that should solve most issues. Bill
Merry Christmas to you too Billy, and A Happy New Year with nice stable gimbals. Thanks for all the help this past year! Very pleased with my RCTimer Legacy and CP.
You should be Gary. Is an awesome combo as long you don't use the RLG. Happy holidays to you too. Talk to you next year

Hey folks, what is the biggest and strongest gimbal motor you know? The weight doesn't matter, don't need it for a MR... Thanks
