Just wondered if anyone else had swapped out the 4 vertical 15mm rods on the M15 cage for longer rods to give the cage a bit more height? I know it reduces the clearance from the pan motor, but would give a bit more height in the cage for taller cameras and in my case would allow a top cheese plate to be used on a C300. Interested to hear others experiences. Cheers, Neil.
Heyy mate, look at it, I think it can help you ! http://www.hurlbutvisuals.com/blog/2014/11/collaborative-innovations-movi/ Cheers, Pv
Neil, yes I've done this. Pretty easy. I have a couple of different rod sizes that fit larger cameras. Cheers,
Thanks Eric - good to hear others have had success working this way! Thanks as well PV for the link, that seems to be about extending the handles rather than the cage height, but it's a really cool idea as well!
