Yes Austin, it does have the capability to work with a RED shutter. I have tested it personally with the Quadroshutter, and the Gentles gentWIRE-RED 101A. You have to go into the RED's menu/GPIO and setup the GPI port for "high" start, "Low" stop if I remember correctly.
