Hi I finally got the chance to setup the new controller with my MOVI - I find it so much more intuitive to use and the integrated follow focus makes it that much easier of the second operator. Is it possible to use the MOVI controller to start and stop a Canon C100 / C300 via LANC ? I'm after a cable to connect the MōVI Controller Receiver to the LANC input on the a Canon C100 / C300? I’ve seen these but am not sure if they will work with the Record Output Port on the MōVI Controller Receiver. Can anyone confirm? http://www.quadrocopter.com/gentWIRE-LancPro-Camcorder-Control_p_774.html Thanks in advance Cheers James
Hi James, I'm with you, would love to get some more info on this - I consider it a fairly basic function of the controller, but I'm struggling to work it out. I have GENTLED cables for all cameras, which worked perfectly via a double binded AR6210 receiver with the DX7... Not having much luck with the new controller though!
Same here. The Lanc function should be used on the MoVi controler. When a customer pays more than 3000$ a controler, he's expecting things to be perfect
Hello We have developed this small interface cable as a universal shutter and video start/stop via the MoVI Controller: https://www.quadrocopter.com/QuadroShutter-_p_1363.html It will accept any of the gentLED shutter, st/stop cables. Perhaps Michael can indicate the correct cable for the C300. Greetings, Adam
Hi Hi Ben, I assume you're dutch? I am, I got the Movi M10 since yesterday and I have the C300 as well, also trying to figure out how to start/stop the thing. maybe we can get in contact. my mail is info@alain.nl
Hi James, I bought all the necessary cables from Quadrocopter for the MoviController. I can tell you that the start/stop function is not working on the with the lanc (Canon C300) Greet Ben de Graaf
I'm looking at the new C100 mk2 (Dec release). From a quick search it looks like it will use the same lanc plug/control as the Sony FSx series for rec/standby. Will get back to you when I get a Cx00 on the bench. Cheers, Jeff
