Hi guys, just got the M15 and having trouble connecting it to my nexus. Downloaded the latest software and still not having any luck! The device is paired with my tablet, i've accepted the pass code etc.. but once i open the app it just won't connect. Anyone have any suggestions or has had the same problem before with m10 or m5?

    Cheers

    Scott

What actual brand of tablet do you have? Have you turned off any other BT devices that close by?

Thanks Gary, It's a google nexus 7. works fine on our M10's but for some reason won't connect. I'll try turning off BT devices close by but tbh i don't think there is any other near by anyway.

Scott, send a note to support@freeflysystems.com. With that tablet you should have no issue in connecting. You are running the latest version of the GUI?

Scott, make sure you have the latest update for the Nexus. Mine was giving me the same issues. The Android had an update for OS, downloaded and it seems to be better so far since update. Keep us posted on what you find please?

I have a similar issue with my m15. updated my nexus 7 to the latest android. disconnected any nfc wifi signals. I paired the m15 to the blue tooth and can see it on the freefly devices found. but when i try to connect i get the message "Comms revision not recognized"

any ideas my freefly app is version 1.44 The reason i haven't updated is because my m10 is still running the original firmware. I don't want to upgrade it yet. I wonder if i update the freefly app my m10 will still work?

Chris the GUI needs to be aligned with the app version as I understand it.

Will that break the connection with my m10 that is still on the original shipped firmware? I'm not planning on upgrading the m10.

You can upgrade the app only. Your old M10 firmware will still play nice with the new app as well as the new firmware on the M15. As long as the app is the same or newer than your most advanced firmware version.
