Absolutely insane at how close that was. The newscaster says towards the end of the video "remember it is illegal to fly drones commercially" we all know this already yet some still post videos from actual commercial jobs in public forums. Guys, no need to prove yourselves to professionals in the same industry. Your only need is to keep your clients happy.
I find it strange that the video mentions nothing about it being a hobby rc jet., and shows a clip of a multi rotor instead.
Wall Street Journal: "American Airlines said that safety is its top priority and that it is investigating the alleged incident." Reuters: "American said it is "aware of the published report alleging an incident with one of our express flights and we are investigating." thewire.com: "American Airlines, which own US Air, said it had no evidence of the event." Hmm. So did AA get or not get a pilot report on this at the time of the incident or shortly thereafter? (March 22, 2014.) Andy.
Now foxnews has a picture of a preditor for the story, what happened to actual journalism and checking facts.
