BTW, here's the direct store link. http://store.freeflysystems.com/collections/movi-accessory/products/movi-mobile-kit I'm curious if anybody's tried any of the latest iPhones on a copter. The last time I tried this (I think it was my iPhone 4s) the rolling shutter was so bad that it was completely unusable. I'm waiting on my iPhone 6+ and wondering if it'd be worth flying with, especially with that cool 240fps capability.
That's really cool. That was with the iPhone 5, right? Not the 5s or 6? Very slick. I think I'm sold.
Freefly folks: the Mobile Kit description says "The kit supports most phones up to 3 inches (76mm) wide." According to Apple, the iPhone 6 Plus is 77.8mm wide. Shall I assume that I might be able to get it to work with longer screws maybe?
N.B. I think the more size of iphone 6+ is will be a problem if you want to use also the lightning to Hdmi adapter due of more tall against the other 6 or 5 models. The M5 cage is not large enough to accomodate the iPhone 6+ and the adapter and the lightning cable adapter is not thin like the Hdmi cable that I own. With my actually iphone 5 is just out the limit. I will post some picture later.
I'm not sure the HDMI connector would be necessary. For handheld the iPhone itself has the image on it, and for aerials...well, that's probably just for S&G, so I'm not sure I'd care all that much.
