Hey Guys, Trying out the Superx on my U7 heavy lifter. Anyone here fly a heavylift using SUPERX, can you tell me your gains? I've tried out all kinds of combos and tried adjusting the gain knob and the heli is jerking all over the place. Sometimes in attitude mode it seems to randomly start heading off in a direction and I have to correct to keep it in one spot. GPS mode seems to fly more like attitude on my wookong.
What are your gains at the moment? Can you post a link to a log file? I never had issues like that with my X8, my only issue was vibrations in the wind.
Hmm funny that I am looking to change both of my HL to this FC... hearing good things. Also heard they have pretty good support? Also a big thread over here: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?13158-SuperX/
Well, lately the support has sucked. XAircraft america was missing in Action for ever. No one was able to reach the guy or XAircraft China. Anyhow, the US distributor is "back", but who knows for how long?! Also, right now the Log site is down, but there is an offline program you can use. It is only in chinese, but better than nothing. Kinda hard to tell where it all began, but I believe it started here after I had crashed: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1963789&page=295 Anyhow, the whole gain thing sucks big time! The problem is, that when you change the gain setting form your radio, they will not be DISPLAYED on your software, even though they have been changed!!! You also have to realize that when you change the gains from your radio, with lets say a knob, they will not change linear. What I mean by that is, the gains can be changed from -50% to +200%. So if you assign your gains to a knob on your radio, you would thing that 0% on the knob equals -50% gains, and 100% on the knob would equal +200%. That is not the case. As you turn the knob the gains go up, up, up and then at some point down, down, down again. You have to play around with the radios end point adjustments a little bit in order to figure it out. I have mine set at 40%. Futaba 8FGH Super. I hope I explained this somewhat correctly?! thanks, G
Georgios welcome to the forums. Would you be kind enough to change your user name to your real first name and last name, please? The reasons for this (and how to do it) are explained here: http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/real-names.497/.
