Does anyone have this beast? It's new enough that I'm having trouble finding much info out there on the forums. If you have one and have successfully configured it, please let me know your tips and tricks...Thanks!

I'll move this to the Electronics thread, Shadd. This isn't the place for it.

Yes I do. Have been poring over the thing. Having a lot of trouble finding the screen they show for the SUMI/SUMO/SUMD HD setting.

I wonder whether you need the Transmitter talking to a suitable receiver before those screens come up. I seem to remember something odd like that on the MX-20 but I might be hallucinating and confusing it with telemetry screens.

Yeah -- check page 53 of the manual: 14-2 SETTING & DATA VIEW "Only if transmitter and receiver are bound...."
Can you bind the Tx to an Rx and then try again?

We have the TX and RX bound. We have finally found where in the menu to set the SUMO/SUMI/SUMD-HD. Do you happen to know which one we need to set it to? And where to access the corresponding setting on the MK Tool?

    On the MX-20/MC-32 it's SUMO 12.
As I recall you don't change anything via MK Tool, you just have to plug the FC to Rx connector into (for the GR-24, say) the PPM port (which is, again from memory) port 8. If you do that, then the FC "sees" a chain of pulses that represents all 12 RC channels.

But, rather than trust my memory I did a Google search for: mikrokopter PPM
and this seems to be the most relevant hit: http://www.mikrokopter.de/ucwiki/en/MX-20

    There's also this:
    http://www.mikrokopter.us/the-radio-station/testing-and-configuring-the-new-graupner-mz-24/

This is also relevant (although you may know what you need by now):

Oh...just remembered....you do have to set the Radio receiver type in MK Tool. Sorry....

Wow, Andy! Thank you so much! This is a great help.

When you say "set the Radio receiver type" I'm thinking that is on the "channels" tab where there is a pull down menu for the Graupner HOTT. Is that correct?

BTW: The error message I get on Flight Control "DETAILS" is "no receiver signal".

That's saying that the FC board is not seeing what it's expecting to see coming in on the "Rx" signal. Check where that wire is going and whether it's plugged into the correct port on the Receiver and is inserted the correct way around -- as I recall it's a single grey wire, but again, I don't have one in front of me so I'm going from memory.
