Hey Guys! Love my M5 but i've had some issues. When flying after landing it seems like the pan motor shuts off, I take off again and I have no pan but tilt and roll are fine. I also rented it out yesterday and few times during the shoot the pan would cease to function while holding it.

I'm updated to the newest firmware. Any Ideas?

Battery status? What mode are you in airborne/handheld? Mode switch on the transmitter?

Full Battery. Airborne mode. It goes bad in Majestic mode during handheld sometimes. 3 position switch. In airborne mode, pan seems to only fail after I land and take off again. Once the pan stops working theres no getting it back until I reboot.

When you land do you switch to the Kill mode on the remote? Also send a note to support. Haven't seen this type of behavior.

Ok update. In peru. Things started being very odd with the movi then it all out stopped working. No lights or anything. I suspected the switch. Took off the back housing connected the 2 red switch wires and boom works perfectly!!

Chris: Are you saying that the main MōVI power switch failed and that to make things function you basically have shorted out the switch?

That's something that I'm pretty sure the folks at support@freeflysystems.com would want to hear about, if you've not already sent them a message.

Good workaround though -- shows the switch who's in charge! :)

    Andy.
