Im debating on selling my gimbal and getting the M5 but I'm wondering if it will hold all i want to put on it. I have the black magic pocket cinema and will be using sanyang 16/24/35/85 size lens for most of my shooting. I also have a Redrock Wireless follow focus and paralinx transmitter, though i will probably mount the transmitter on the arm, not 100% sure on combined weight but has anyone put a setup similar to this or this with the M5 and if so can you post up some pics and a brief review on how it faired.

You shouldn't have any trouble at all flying that! The BMPC only weights 12.5 oz and the RedRock Torque motor only weights about 6 oz. I'm not sure about the exact lenses you want to use but the Sanyang 85mm T1.5 for micro 4/3 weights in at 1.3 lbz. If the Redrock basestation, monitor & transmitter are mounted on the handle that doesn't take away from your 5 lb weight limit of the M5.

Cool, now I just have to find someone to sell my converted cinestar gimbal so my wife doesn't flip out.

I don't get it, Gary Haynes just told you that you are going to have issues with this setup, or was there just a "nt" missing...

I was figuring an nt was missing as the wording doesn't sound right, using "may have issues" or " you going to have issues", but just saying should I figured a spelling error.

Seems like its right in the M5’s sweet spot, as we baseball (or tennis) fans say.

I had my BMPC camera on my M5 yesterday, balanced with an SLR Magic 12mm lens, and was wondering if a RedRock Micro torque motor would actually fit in the space available? Given the lightweight of the BMPC, the lens focus ring on the SLR Magic lens is pretty much still within the "cage" of the Movi M5.

Anyone have photos showing RRM torque motor setup with the M5 using a similar config? Even the GH4 with most lenses will be fairly recessed to get proper balance.
