I was able to use the MoVI on two KPOP music videos this week. On one of them, we used the Ultra Prime 8R lens. It was so front heavy I had to actually place additional weights on the back in order to balance it properly. Not ideal, but it got the job done!
That looks crazy heavy for that rig! It worked ok? What moves were you doing with it? We're you going fast?
Yeah, it was super heavy but the rig handled it perfectly. The MoVI is very impressive and truly, I must say, though there are cheaper alternatives on the market, I don't think I can trust those to be as reliable as the MoVI and that, in and of itself, when you're on a job, is worth the price to me. We were doing a lot of moves constantly as it was a dance/performance heavy music video. I'll post the link once the video is out. And yeah, we were moving pretty fast.
