    Has anyone been able to get in contact with Rt Motion? I've tried emailing/ringing leaving messages.

    Yep, but it was difficult, took a few days for them to respond.

    The product is good, the service .... Needs work IMHO

    Be patient, they're currently moving offices. It is a very good system.

    I just received an email from Kerry at RT Motion, they missed my delivery date and it's going out next week. I guess they're in their new offices now so things should be smoother.

    I literally can't get hold of them to order. It's really strange. Have you all gone for the two channel? Focus/iris?

    We got one to start ... then looked at our experience with the lead times and then got the remaining channels ... so we have one at the moment, and waiting for more motors and cables at the moment

    Thanks for the reply.What are your thoughts on the rtmotion in comparison to the heden/bartech?

    I haven't used the heden or bar tech options, but it is a step above the RRM equipment.

    Its well made, and the controls are smooth, and its easy to set up.

    Hey Chris,
    Does the rt motion auto detect and calibrate itself by spinning the lens rings end to end or do you have to manually set the limits for each lens?

    Just put the focus in the mid position in the lens, mesh the motor and plug it in ... it takes care of the rest ....

    I haven't tried it with an AFS lens yet. that may involve some fiddling around if we need to follow that path, but at the moment most of the lens we are flying have hard stops.

    paid 10K 4 months ago no system yet - finally got my tracking number yesterday - I've heard its an amazing product the customer service is the worst.

    Hi everybody,
    I'm on a shoot and we are facing terrible problems with my RT Motion 3.0 and the Movi. The follow focus loses connection very often. We have to recalibrate after almost every take if it finishes the take at all. Does anybody use the RT Motion 3.0 with the Movi? Has anybody faced problems with this? We checked everything from sound (wireless microphones) to mobile phones around but it wouldn't change any thing. The RT Motion runs without any problem when it is not mounted on the RED Scarlet flying the Movi. Any ideas?

    Andreas, which video downlink are you using at the same time?

    We have not had any issues with our 3.1version of the rt motion, but have observed that with that on board and a HD downlink there is a lot of RF on the copter ....

    Hi Chris, thank you for your answer. I'm using a Paralinx HD video. It works without any problem when the camera is not mounted on the Movi. The whole system runs when not mounted on the Movi. Still no idea what it could be. Already contacted RT Motion. I hope they get back to me on Monday.
