With the gimbal and Balck Magic camera and AH on when i am stay in the same place the altitude hold is perfect, but when i move in any direction i am losing altitude. if i fly 15m i will lose 3m but when i stop it will rise at the altitude i start.

Not a problem -- there is a chance that one of the forum members will have the knowledge to help, but as this forum is focussed on Freefly Systems, I didn't want you to think we are ignoring you.

    Andy.

Thiago Kraus's MK Youtube videos addressed this issue, I believe.

What is your Dynamic Stability value under the Gyro tab? I would recommend it to raise to 70 if it is lower than 64.

Dan, If your rig is losing height when travelling forward it can be because it is not generating enough lift to maintain height and travel at the attitude that your are asking it to. Putting your numbers into ecalc comes back with a predicted hover of 63% and that is for a flat 8 configuration using your setup, gain a bit/lose a bit more going to x8 and your rig is looking a bit overweight.

16 or 17" props look much more favourable for that kind of weight, even 18"

I dont know what to say, even if i have hover at 63% MK must compensate. i think is from other settings and i will try also with 16 or 17 inch props.

can you tell me what props you recomand . 16x? , 17x?.

    Thanks a lot guys.

I'm running 17" and 18" ... it all comes down to testing for your build, all the weight distributions and variables make each setup unique.

Generally if you punch the numbers into eCalc and get a hover value at between 45-55%, you are at a good starting point.

Over 60% and performance starts to drop off, and changes in air density will start causing you trouble, as the hover throttle can increase significantly as a result of this.
