What could be the reason for this, what did I miss? CW are cold as ice, but all CCW are quite hot. Using DJI Wookong and T-motor CF 15" props. In manual mode CS8 is flying straight and all trims are set to 0
I had a similar problem: (but with MK) One motor was tilted or twisted at a slight angle on the arm. I have round CF arms (CS6), so the one motor was slightly off, and with the tilt it creates a yaw force. The other motors have to try to compensate for it i guess, and so all the other counter rotating motors/Esc became hot. It was motor one (1) that was tilted/twisted, so the 2,4, and 6 Esc became hot. Eyeballing it, I couldn't hardly tell, but I got out a level, straightened it so that the motor was perfectly perpendicular to the ground (again), and that did the trick.
You are welcome! Took me awhile to figure it out, but after I did it made perfect sense. I know alot of guys just eyeball the motors, but obviously that didn't work for me. The one motor that was twisted had to be only 5-7 degrees. But for the other motors to compensate (not being twisted in the other direction) they had to work really hard.
