Josh the Roll must be repositioned for the new software. I've discovered that yesterday. Haven't tried the Pan, the Tilt is the same. Just remove the Roll Radian from under the Gimbal and glue it to the gear with double side tape.
Hi Arthur, The tilt, roll, and pan mounting are all different on the production version of the software. You should swap the module on tilt also so it is not backwards. Thanks again for the nice gifts from Brazil! Megan has the quati sitting on her desk right now
Hum... Actually, now that you mentioned it. I had it installed backwards since day one . I've installed it on the gear as the production unit is installed, and it has always worked perfectly. Glad you guys liked the package, I hope the sizes where right.
When I download the software and unzip there is only a .fw file. I think that's probably the firmware update. Is there another place for the GUI software? Thanks, Bob
Bob, on the page there are 4 links. 1 - Instructions 2 - Software 3 - Firmware 4 - Bootloader You got the #3. Get the #2.
HI Arthur, this was our fault....we had a broken page for a few minutes. Bob must have looked just at the 'wrong' time! Thanks! Tabb
Thanks Tabb, That always seems to be the case, I'm always looking when I shouldn't be. Thanks for fixing it so fast. Bob
Sorry, PC only, just like MK-Tools. But you can virtualize a Windows under MAC OS or use Boot Camp both will work.
Radian software runs otherwise nicely on my Mac / Mountain Lion / Parallels desktop 8 / Windows 7 - but it does not help my windows allergy at all that all the radio button graphics are distorted. Tried to play around with some windows graphics settings without any results. Anyhow if anyone has any ideas - and FF guys - Mac and iOS version, please pretty please! -v
Ville, Try reducing the font size. Right click in the middle of the Desktop -> Personalize -> Display (lower left) Check if the "Smaller - 100%" option is marked. Also you can go into "Set custom text size (DPI)" - Left menu - and adjust the size. If the above option is marked try decreasing this a little. Good luck
I Can't get the software to run my netbook with XP. I have installed it on 3 win7 machines with no problem. Any one else using XP?
Hi John: What actually happens on your Netbook? Does it crash right away or does it display one of those lovely "There has been an error, see if you can guess what's wrong" messages? Andy.
I have also some problem with XP: - PC Software 1.0.1 is installing and run well. - During Setup of Bootloader programm I get the message "Setup cannoty continue because some system files are out of date on your system" I know XP is up to date but may be something else is bad but what? No problem at all with windows 7.
I installed both version 1.0 and then 1.01 of the Radian software under Windows XP [edit: I should have added "successfully" -- no problems.). It looks like the Radian software was written in Visual Basic, so there may be issues with some of components of VB if you're getting that "Setup cannot continue..." message. I did a Google search for you, using the text of that message and this may be relevant: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/831491 It looks like, as I thought, it might be a problem with VB components on your system....but that's pure speculation. Andy.
