    Hey Guys

Just received my M10 yesterday! I have been trying to tune the pan, roll and tilt stiffness. But i can't seem to get the value numbers high enough !
Vibrations starts at PAN: 20, Roll: 20, TILT 10.
As far as i can see Tabb reaches about 130 and so on, with the 1DC on his rig, in his videos. Mine is rigged with a c300 with an 25mm Zeiss ZE.
I use my macbook with bluetooth to config.

Any suggestions on what i might be doing wrong ?

    thanks

    -Mathias

Silly question perhaps, but have you got the balance right, so that the rig holds at various roll angles (like in the video tutorials)?

Take a look at the chart to see which motor is self-oscillating the most, then revisit your balance test for that motor.

On OSX you get charts via 'Window' in the top bar.

    Hi Mathias,

Sounds like you might be off balance.

While in the app on your MacBook look at the Motor Chart and tell me what % for each axis (pan, roll, tilt)

    Can you post some pictures?

Also, watch the balance videos and do your best to get the camera as close to perfect as possible.

Hehe Justin, nice to know you offer the same advice man.

  6. Mathias,
If you have properly balanced your rig, BEFORE you even start adjusting your stiffness settings you should have your motor percentages below 3%. (please see attached image) I Know the ROLL is at 5% in this image, this is the only screen shot I have at the moment that uses the Mac version of the app. Please let me know if you have anymore questions.

hey guys here are some pictures.. I have managed to get my numbers a little higher! but not nearly close to Tabb's. It is balanced as it should (i think).

    What do you think ?
i have been trying it out with these stiffness numbers, and it actually feels okay. But i am just a bit concerned for my numbers..
