I say " I am cold and wet" MoVi worked fine and I soaked it. I don't recommend this but wanted to share my experience Tabb
As we say where I live (in Oregon): Question: Is it raining? Answer: How long have you been in Oregon? Andy.
And up in Vancouver we say " if you cant see the mountains its raining... and if you can, it's going to rain"
Andy, I have a question. I will cover the camera of course. When the rain, do I need to cover the motors?
I worked in on-and-off rain for two days. We had umbrellas over it but there were specks or rain on the rig the entire time. I made sure to keep it in a warm room over night to let it dry out. I wonder how weather proof the rig actually is. It seems to be working just fine now.
I don't know the answer, Tsuyoshi-san. I suspect the answer is no, but I'm speculating. The motor windings are obviously made out of insulated wire (otherwise they would short out), but there may be some exposed connections. Of course, rain is distilled water and that's not electrically conductive, but I'm afraid there is only one way to find out.... Andy.
I heard MoVI is weak in the rain. Motor gets wet in the rain, or will be broken? I asked to ANDY-san, but it was a photo of TABB-san. Do not know how to use in the rain the MoVI?
