I hope I am not starting anything that already exists.
    My question or plead:
can you please share any Information about mounting a C300?

    Power
    Setup

    Sound....

    That would be very appreciated!

I'm actually rigging up a C100 tomorrow on a Movi, so I'll make sure to post pics for you. I still haven't figured out sound, not really sure how that'll work... haha. Might just have to do sync sound when on the Movi.

Thanks mate, appreciate it. Well, sound will be, in my opinion, just a jack mike on cam as reference and a good sync one on a external recorder. I doubt that I want my sound engineer running after the Movi ! ;)

    Hey Giorgio,
I also got a M10 to my C300, have you found out what setup works? Transmitter, wireless FF and so on?
I would appreciate to get some info about what actually works well on that particulary setup.

    G,

I posted a thread about my possible set up with the C100 once it arrives... Asked some questions, that may be helpful. It's in the main M10 forum.

Hi, I have heard from a friend that somebody tried the Movi with a C300 and had some issues with the tilt. (the camera was too tall). I don't know if they took the top handle down or not, but they did switch to an epic for the shooting.
Question: is the C300 too tall, is then tilting a problem? Did anybody have this problem?
    Thanks

No problems there, you only have to unmount the viewfinder, and you will be good. Just use the button underneath the viewfinder to unmount. Waiting for my paralinx and microRemote FF, than I will post some pics.

The C300 is a great combo with the M10! Here are some pics of a complete rig we built with a 25mm Cooke mini S4/i, Arri remote follow focus and Paralinx vision. We had to try a few different configs to get enough clearance of the roll bar and to position the overall mass low enough to allow a decent tilt range. We also would have preferred shorter cable runs, but didn't have time for that for this job.

Total weight of the setup on the M10 was 4.4kg.

I'm surprised at that weight! Great pictures.. You will love to eventually get yourself the RTmotion Followfocus. It will be your best friend on the MōVI! Here is a picture of the receiver. It also has amazing range!! Check them out.

Ben, I am really impressed, I have already stolen a couple of ideas.
The swit battery Dtap sends 7,2 volts, am I right?
I need to check my cmotion FF to see if that is enough. Unfortunately the USB on the battery has only 1A and the Paralinx needs more, those Batteries look anyway like the real deal. What are your experiences?
Last but not least I couldn't see the set up for monitor-paralinx. How do you power,....?
Thanks a lot for the pics that's a beaut.

Great - glad it's of some help.

The SWIT d-tap is at least 12V. I did measure it but can't recall exactly what it is at full charge. The Arri UMC-3A needs at least 9V (according to spec anyway) and it powers that just fine. It would be good if that battery was smaller - I'd trade that for less runtime.

We power the Paralinx transmitter directly from the DP4 via the 5V mini-B USB port. You don't get the same range doing it that way, but it's very convenient and works for most of our setups so far.

Post some pics when you get it working well.
