Here's a very cool look at a 3 axis gimbal attached to an Easyrig. Using the Easyrig with an extented arm seems to be the way to go. This version of Easyrig is very expensive however!

That´s a rather expensive movi copy that seems to be missing the honestly quite impressive majestic mode. It does have some interesting ideas though but I wonder how it will be possible to use its built in stand if it is powered.

I´m not sure if I´d prefer the easy rig to a steadicam. But I see its advantage to hand-hold only, especially for longer use.

An articulated sprung arm (Steadicam iso-elastic) is definitely the way to go for smooth prolonged takes, and will probably be cheaper than buying an Easyrig? All you need is some ingenuity with connecting the MoVI to the stabilizer arm. Tsuyoshi Yasumoto has offered a solution to attaching the MoVI to a Steadicam arm. http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?attachments/img_5504-jpg.3371/

    Nice one Tsuyoshi.
