On set right now trying to balance the rig with an epic, and we're getting no response from the tilt motor. Either with the camera on or off, there is communication through the tablet, and we can see the motor is working but its actually not doing anything. We've swapped out batteries, unplugged cables, defaulted all settings.....All other motors work on boot up, just not the tilt... HELP!!!

Also, this was built and tested on friday with the same camera setup, and worked fine. all we did was take it apart to transport in a pelican with original foam packaging.

Devon, when you say it is not doing anything, is it not actually stabilising? If you use the remote, does it not do tilt but it does pan?

If you are in Majestic mode, the default is not to "follow" your tilt. It is to stay level. You can over-ride this in the app settings.

And don't forget that having chosen this option you need to "write" that configuration so it will be remembered when you power on again.

Devon: Please be sure to check that all connectors are firmly seated too. You may want to gently unplug and replug each connector on the tilt axis.

Are you seeing any signs of problems using the Configurator app? Any warnings?

    Andy.

Thanks Andy for getting back to us, We got it going finally, it was a small connector at the back on the bottom of the CPU module. It was actually half unplugged so we were getting no warnings...
