I should have mine tomorrow. I will weigh it. I could have sworn I saw someone with a photo showing it on a scale at 40 pounds, but I have no idea if that was with or without gear, or even if it was measuring pounds or kg.

They're only 40lbs fully loaded, according to Vincent Laforet's twitter.

It's an upgrade. I little expensive, ($200), but does make a diffrence.

Just an iPhone pic… no time to stop and take any other kind! I thought I'd snap one before I rip everything outta here and start setting it all up…

Hey Jason, will the Tx compartment comfortably fit a Futaba 8FG? (175 x 175 x 55) I'm pretty sure the spectrum is close in size, worth checking though!

    Cheers,
    Cam

Cam just measured the two. Width you should be ok. Futaba about 1/2 narrower. Length (top of folded antenna to bottom of case) the 8FG is about 2 inches shorter. Height (sitting flat on a table to top of the sticks) Furaba maybe 1/8-1/4 inch more.

Thanks Gary, appreciate you measuring that up for me. Do you think that a pult for the Tx with screen mount would fit in anywhere? I can see that being the only missing piece of the puzzle, unless it fits in with the stand?

I told Jason I would throw together a review of the case. I wanted to grab some quick product footage this morning before I subjected it to O'Hare's baggage handlers. Complete with cheesy soundtrack...

We just ordered a case for our M10 on very very short notice and Jason went above and beyond to see that our order was pushed through. We got the case and are really impressed with it's quality and attention to detail. Jason was really easy to reach as well, always by his phone or email when we were finalizing the order. Testing it out tomorrow on a long flight to Finland so we are happy to have something sturdy to keep our Movi in! Thanks again for all the help Jason and a great product.

Thanks for posting your feedback Chad. I'd also to thank the Movi owner who traded their place in line with you so that you could have their Movi case. They were very sympathetic to your predicament and were happy to be able to help you out. There are so many helpful people out there in the world.

I have been meaning to post my take on the case, but since having it for awhile and taking it out in the field, I think my opinion has changed. When I first got the case, it was exactly like other have posted, great design, well thought out and easy to travel with, but since I have been using it on location, the added benefit is - it's presentation. Obliviously, the MoVI draws a crowd anywhere you go, but when I open up the Cinema Oxide case, I get the same response every time - WOW! It adds huge amounts of credibility to me as a MoVI Operator and allowed me to present myself as a professional, not just some dude with a new toy. You need this case.
