Thx Carey, I guess I'm hoping Freefly might chime in to shed some light on their plans if they had any in this area. We've got temporary solution for running three monitors, but it would help with planning what gear we will purchase in the near future. Tabb?
alot of these issues would be workable if only the redmote had better range. but in terms of single opertational mode, yes RED lcd would be nice to have with better more flexible wires.
My company is researching custom cable production for these types of applications. We are starting by building them for our own rig, then seeing how scalable production can be. We have the first prototype nearly finished, but it won't be for the RED touch. This is definitely something that's high on my list, though, because it seems like a big need.
what type of cable are you looking for? http://www.red.com/store/products/evf-cable works, but its bluky
Charles I think the issue is the number of connectors and finding wire small enough that has the flex required. There was a posting on this forum and over at Reduser. Poster had a custom cable made but it was not flexible enough. The search continues.
