After rewiring an extra Lemo cable from my Teradek kit, I now have power to the RRM FF Base Station from the +1 Module. This eliminates the need for a 2nd LiPo.

Camera & FF powered via RedVolt
DP 4 and Video Transmitter via Canon batts
    Gimbal via LiPo

A fairly tidy and functional setup. After doing some exterior daylight stuff, though, I'll be looking into a DP 7 HB.

Yeah, you need to be comfortable soldering tiny bits. I had these cables custom made, so no reason they couldn't be ordered with correct polarity for the RRM FF.

I had two made by Chris Konash who is a one man band and two I ordered from Laird that were stock Red to Teradek Cables. Laird was faster since they had them in stock, but Chris can do whatever you need. You just need to make sure he has the correct pin-outs. The RedRock Micro Base Station requires Polarity Reverse of what the Teradek wants.

    Hi Christopher,

this is exactly the Setup i intend to have...
Can You tell me the running time you get with the Redvolt powering also the FF?

The Dp7 HB is a great choice. I worked with it a few days ago in brightest Sunlight... just amazing.

    Have fun
    Norbert
