So I have my Movi MR now. I have played around in majestic mode a bit and the results are incredible. Now looking to set up dual operator mode. I own a Futaba SBUS receiver and just want to be sure I plug it in in the right spot. Can anyone give me a definitive answer (a photo would be best) on where to plug my servo lead to?

Also, will this connection both accept the signal, plus deliver the 5V power to the receiver?

    Cheers.

Never mind, just heard back from Freefly.
    They say:
    "Chuck,
The Sbus Reciever can be plugged into the bottom of the Gimbal Controller unit (there is a keyed 3 pin connector that provides 5V for the receiver)
    Thanks"

Yup, it is adjacent to the spektrum Satellite receiver port. There are actually 2 spektrum ports and one SBUS port. The SBUS plug is keyed for futaba type connectors so just be aware of that.

For those with the factory stock Spektrum setup, we are just talking about a different type/brand of receiver that the MoVI is compatible with... Futaba SBUS.

Chuck don't forget to update the settings in the software on your Android to set it for s.Bus and a remap of the appropriate channels. Once you have the mapping done it works fine.

Can you advise on how to 'remap' the settings using the 8FG?

2 Spektrum ports? The 3 pin is for the receiver, what's the other one for (5 pin)? I'm dumbfounded on the lack of technical information on the Movi kit! Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place. Is this forum the only technical resource we have? (Besides the very basic setup guide PDF).

Not sure what Brad meant by 2 Spektrum ports. On the bottom of the IMU there are 3 connectors, s.bus, Spektrum and a port for firmware updates and use during factory setup. I have a photo of the bottom in one of the forum posts.

That's what I thought. Just after clarity! Is there another technical resource for us consumers apart from this forum? I'd rather read a tech manual than ask questions. Thanks for your quick response BTW!

Yeah Mitch, my bad. I was going by memory with limited experience with the production versions.

If I have a Futaba FG8 Super Tx, then what model receiver do I need? I'm having difficulty figuring out which is the right Rx to purchase to connect to the M5.

Great! Does the supplied freefly battery (AUX PACK 1.3Ah 14.8V 4S) battery power the Rx?
    Thanks for the help

How do I plug Futaba Sbus RX into M5? There is no port as far as I can see. Only a label that says "sbus"

I was suspecting that but dared not open the cover because I feared I might damage the Movi. Why not add this into the manual. That wold be a truly awesome addition!

BTW, the hanging wire is for Spektrum. It can be removed if using Futaba Subs.
