Building my first CS8. The only problem is that the FC gives a Pressure Sensor Error.

Any suggestions or do I just contact Quadrocopter and request a replacement FC?

Check the legs of the pressure sensor to make sure none have broken and the solder joints are good.
This is the pressure sensor: http://www.quadrocopter.com/Pressure-sensor-MPX-4115A_p_80.html

if the FC is under warranty then contact your dealer, otherwise you may need to replace the pressure sensor.
I use a blob of hot glue underneath it to prevent vibration from fatiguing the leads -- and then Velcro on the front face as a gust inhibitor. (Punch a hole in the piece of Velcro that sticks to the sensor and leave the backing tape on the piece that isn't stuck to the sensor.)

Thanks Andy. The pressure sensor and it's legs look fine. Guess I'll contact Quadrocopter and see what they say.

You might want to just re-flow the solder on the pressure sensor joints just to see if there's a dry joint in there somewhere.

    I gave the re-flow attempt a try - no luck. :(

Josh might be a bad sensor. Last thing to try would be to reload the firmware and see if it makes any difference. And as you mentioned talk with the Quadrocopter guys.

Josh: Just out of curiosity, is this a new board, or one that used to work, but has now decided not to?

Andy - this is a brand new Flight Control V2.1 ME with ACC Upgrade board from Quadrocopter. I'm am in the process of finishing the build. Everything else seems to be looking good aside from this one problem.
