Andrew if you have a Spektrum system hooked up to the Pan module then you would check the box. Pan config screen should show Spektrum Valid. All other Radians that are down stream will show SBUS valid as the communication between them is SBUS as I remember. On the additional Radians (roll/tilt) the check box should be empty. Also depending on what Spektrum receiver you are using, if it is DSM2-1024 capable you would check that box on the Pan module. If you are on the Futaba system then the check boxes would all be empty. On the Pan screen you should see PPM Valid with the Futaba.
Thanks Gary. We will give it a go but I have to remind myself again that we have had this all setup with Futaba in an effort to eliminate the rc. For the record the spektrum satellite was bound with an AR8000 receiver And thanks everyone for your continued effort and support on this. This must be the eighth CS3 with radians that I have done. All the same way and never had this problem. We will get there.
Chaps, the box says off UNLESS using Spektrum NOT IF using Spektrum. Checking the boxes means each radian is inactive.
could it be connected to travel end point on the radio for different switches on sticks? Andrew did we adjust travel on futaba radio to reflect those settings we had on the Spektrum DX8?
Glad to help anyone from Eboracum, Chris. (Have a pint of Samuel Smith for me....) Sorry to hear that checking that box on the pan Radian didn't help. It should indeed be checked when you are using a Spektrum RX, but only for the Radian to which the Rx is connected. The Radians uses S.bus protocol on the Radian-to-Radian connection. I must admit that I'm somewhat stumped. Clearly there is something dodgy with the pan setup, but I'm not quite sure what else to try given that you've done all the swapping out of components that you have. Forgive me for asking, but is there anything you have not swapped? Andy.
Radio end points don't seem to make any difference. I find it really hard to believe nobody else is having or has had this issue. Given everything barring the servos have been replaced??? I am totally stumped as well.
I think freefly need to send Andrew Crinson a whole new setup then (free of charge). If that does not work then I am going to have to ask for a refund and Andrew needs crediting as he is my supplier.
That's something you'll need to approach your dealer about, Chris. I'm only a volunteer moderator (as are Gary and Brad). We're not FF employees, I'm afraid. Andy.
Does anyone from FF have a view on the problems? Tabb for instance? Andrew C, can you pursue getting a complete new setup from FF to try out and we could send this one back so they can take a look. Of course this should be at no cost to you as this is faulty kit by the looks of things.
I just want to say I really appreciate all the help guys, frustrating for us all. Its just I have a business to run and this is impacting me badly.
