Has anybody tried using 3-bladed props on their Cinestar or other multirotor? I was looking at them and realized that there could be a win there for aerial photography. Does anybody make pusher and puller props? There's a lot of discussion out there, but I can't seem to find if anybody makes a matched set in 14" that'd work with the Cinestar. I have a hunch that they'd be more stable. Adam? Tabb? Anybody done any testing?
Hey Steve - I had 3-bladed props on an old tiny quad. Unfortunately only got to test them for an afternoon (something got fried in the Rx and had a hard crash, which broke one of the props). Anyway, from what I observed, they did make it easy on the copter to lift up and control. But I haven't seen or even did any research on 3-bladed props for the Cinestar.
Same thoughts for different reasons as Mario from my real airplane ownership. Cruise, the 3 blade were a bit smoother. For climb performance 2 blade would win every time. Haven't seen any pusher 3 blade.
