Where should we take the power for WKM from on the FF distribution board, our dealer suggested using the four outputs with the JST connectors on which I believe are 12v ? And the PMU should see flight battery voltage ? For the cut offs ? Thanks for any assistance
Chris what voltage is needed or max for WKM? If you want to see battery voltage then there is a a couple of additional points where you can add a connection for a direct connect to the battery circuit. If you use the 12v from the molex/jst you will only see 12v.
Thanks Gary, yes I need battery voltage at the PMU so the WKM can monitor the voltage and land/ RTH at per set voltage
Chris, WKM can handle up to 6S batteries so you need to connect it to that board where you're getting straight access to the batteries. I can't zoom in enough on the board to see if there's a place to solder. I'm sure there is. Can you take a picture of the board up close?
G'day Chris, Can you point me in the direction of the picture which shows the solder points...? Thanks, Dan...
I discarded the Cinestar 8 power distribution board and used the "Super Hungry" Power distribution board as sold by HobbyKing. But I reverse engineered it a bit as it was IMHO overkill, overweight and too big to fit the way I wanted it to fit. Here it is.....
Its similar to the Power Hungry board http://mikrokopter.altigator.com/power-hungry-distribution-board-p-40934.html I also have this one. http://www.gryphon-mall.com/product.php?id_product=92
