Andy I have used both. I would stick with the QC or Freeflys. When I use my NanoTechs I fly them in pairs. For your situation if you want more flight time go to the Freefly 9000 or double up on batteries.
Thanks Duane, Are you flying a cinestar 6 or 8? I am getting close to topping out the payload on my cinestar 6 and am concerned that the additional weight of the FF9000 would add additional overall weight and therefore start problems with overheating motors. Longer flight times vs weight vs stress etc.
Andy - I purchased my first 8000 quadrocopter battery a few week ago and have not flown it yet. I'm running a cinestar 6 and typically carry the Sony CX760. The 6200's have worked pretty well for me so that's my battery of choice. I would venture to guess that the 8000 would be the largest you would really want to go on the CS6.
Without a doubt i'm preferring the 8000's over the 6200's. For the extra weight they're working great. The 9000's have been pretty awesome i just prefer the form factor of the brick 8000's. The 8000's have been putting up with a lot more abuse to.
Yeah, I agree, Casey. I'm using the 6200's I have in tandem for 12,400 and sync charging them. But the 8000's are nice batts -- as are the FF 9000's although the form factor of the 9000s is pretty different (long). Andy.
The shape wouldn't make a big difference but i've got my receiver mounted on the battery trey with a receiver rabbit and it gets in the way with a battery that long.
