Any news when this product will be avalaible? We have our 3axis gimbal ready and we are looking for a smooth stabilization gyro.
+1 here. I've been looking for a Picloc a half years now and gave up They are out of stock in webshops and no responses to my emails, sent directly to George. I wonder, whether Freefly stabilization system is coming up soon, or i have to buy however, SkyLine RSGS stab. sys?
We Want Ur Stablizer!! =D Been using a FY30A temporary as a stab, not to happy with, but holding out for the Freefly one
Same here... Quadrocopter has come up with some custom firmware for the MK FC to use as a separate stabilizer, but I really don't want to go that way as it doesn't stabilize the yaw axis. HoverFly's solution seems pretty dodgy, and PicLoc can't be found. Hoping you guys will release the magic soon!
Hi Guys, Sorry for not being more communicative about the status of the stabilization boards. The first run of boards are in production right now. We had some delays in the process that caused us to miss our target launch date, my apologies. I don't have a firm availability date to share right now and don't want to give out another date until we have confirmation the boards will be complete. What I can say is that the boards / software have been tested extensively and we are really happy with the performance. Best, Tabb
Sounds great Tabb! Thanks for the info. Any idea on a price for these so we can start setting money aside to purchase once available? Thanks! Josh
Happy to find this forum. Really hope this board is coming soon and it actually works... Seems like all the promises around gimbal stab leave us empty.
My Skyline is finally on the way, can't wait to see how it works. I bought it for my non cinestar heli, but if it works ok, I will put it also on the Cinestar until Freefly gyro is on sale.
I have been using Kenyon gyro stabilizers in (full scale) helicopters, and am on the edge of my seat waiting to see a solid, stable, CineStar camera gimbal. Can't wait!
It's clear that making these stabilization systems is very challenging. Seems like every company to do it before has promised the world and there ends up being issues and bugs when end users finally get it. The RSGS is having some trouble as well as the HoverFly Gimbal boar. The MultiWii boad is a joke IMHO and the Picloc seems to be a mere dream. I've never seen on in stock. The MK board works... kinda and the DJI WKM stabilisation is almost worthless. I appreciate good testing and proving prior to selling something with big promises. But man is is hard to wait!
