    Looks Great Bill.

Did you cut the carbon parts yourself or have them made? Also the metal extension for the roll motor??

Thank you people. Some parts I had laying around and some I made from CF.
You can't buy a conversion kit for that mod, unless Tabb produces one.
The metal extensions I had made by local machine shop and I made extra ones in case I screwed up.
    @Janne
You can always send it to me and I'll convert it for you

    Thanks everyone for you interest.
    I'll tell you waht.
This project is experimental. So far there's a indication that works.
There's no conversion kit for it.
When I took the CS apart I moved some pieces around and added others to make it work.
I will post some photos of the parts I used and where.
Still waiting for the adjustable tilt bar to arrive in order to balance the cam perfectly. Now is in San Franscisco what ta heck is it doing there? go figure
    I am sooooo excited.

Some of the guys aree asking me about the shafts, They are matched aluminum.
    The hole centers are 12mm.
The 5010-150 motors have 12mm hole spacing and the 4006-150 also, but the 4006 has the shaft sticking out which it has to be cut flush for the extender shaft to fit on.
So, you guys have to know what kind of motor you are going to use in order for the shaft to work.

And, for the good news, since I feel so excited about the whole thing and the responce I got from the forum the shafts are FREE.
Just pay the shipping and is yours.

That made my day:D:D:D and more :D:D:D

Just remember guys you can do the mod yourself, is easy all you need is those items.
    http://www.quadrocopter.com/Dual-Adjustable-Tilt-Bar_p_848.html adjustable tilt bar.
remove the tilt pot and replace it with this; http://www.quadrocopter.com/Dual-Bearing-Tilt-Mount_p_706.html
and you can use this for adjusting and balancing the camera ; http://www.quadrocopter.com/Adjustable-Camera-Rail_p_847.html
If I can't achive a perfect balance I will get that also.
Next you need 2 standoffs at 31mm for the roll bracket, two plates to mount the motors, 2 motors, 2 alu shafts and the controller.

That's it, now put it togethero_O

Well did some more fidlling today while waiting for the parts from QC. They are somewhere in Canada eh?
Anyway. I added some 12.5mm standoffs under the camera plate, that lifted the camera about 1/2" off the crossbar to get a better CG and balance it. Also I have enough clearance to move the camera forward.

I moved the PMU next to it but the cable now is a bit short.
Maybe I'll move it to the other side or move the controller closer.
I figured out how to get the 3 axis working just have to decide how to mount the motor.
So, It looks like I have to use two controllers for now till Alexmos releases the next board.

    Cheers

Excellent! Can't wait to see this in operation!

How many amps can the Alexmos provide each motor?

Back again, you guys must be tired reading about it:D
I added the 3axis motor but I still have to make the motor support for it. I am tired now so I'll continue tomorrow.

Bill that is a first. Did I see a Cinestar as a centerpiece arrangement on your dining room table. What a great idea to get another frame. "Honey its not a copter, it's a centerpiece for Thanksgiving!"
